Morelli strozzapretti is an organic wholemeal pasta. It’s made with an ancient wheat flour called ‘Senatore Cappelli’. Once cooked, the pasta has a firm texture and nutty flavour.

Strozzapreti is a twisted pasta shape that’s popular in northern Italy. Its name means ‘priest strangler’. Legend has it that hungry priests would eat it so fast they choked. We recommend taking your time and savouring every bite!

Pair wholemeal pasta with bold flavours like chilli, garlic and ‘nduja. It’s delicious with all kinds of sauces, from creamy mushroom to classic amatriciana. In Italy, it’s often served with a ragu made from beef, pork or vension.

Morelli pasta is bronze-drawn and dried slowly at low temperatures. This is the secret to the rough surface that helps sauces to cling.
