Gli Artisti della Pasta IGP Fusilli di Gragnano. 500g

Fusilli di Gragnano is a long, spiral-shaped pasta. It can be paired with a variety of sauces, from fresh pesto to a rich ragu. Top with grated Parmesan for a satisfying supper.

This pasta shape is longer than traditional fusilli. The spirals trap sauces so each bite is as delicious as the last. Serve it with sausage ragu flavoured with chilli and fennel. Or, try a creamy mushroom sauce.

Gli Artisti della Pasta uses traditional recipes passed down through generations. Their pasta is slow-dried at low temperatures and extruded through bronze dies, resulting in a denser, stronger pasta. This gives the pasta a rough surface that holds sauces well.

Cooking time: 14 minutes.

In 2012, Gli Artisti della Pasta became the first pasta factory to receive IGP status. IGP stands for Indicazione Geografica Protetta (Protected Geographical Indication). It is assigned to products with a quality or reputation dependent on their geographical origin.

Store in a cool, dry place.

Gli Artisti della Pasta is a family-run company founded in 1976. They are based in Gragnano, Italy.  The town has a rich history of pasta production, earning it the nickname ‘City of Pasta'.

The company produces over 150 different pasta shapes. Most are made from two ingredients: Italian durum wheat and pure spring water. For some special shapes, the dough is flavoured with squid ink, truffle and chilli.
